The homeless camp I walked past every day that was on the little path next to the freeway and under the 23rd Avenue overcrossing burned down yesterday afternoon. I was working in my studio and heard the sirens and the fire engines, but then they're normal for 'round here, and I didn't bother looking outside when they went past. It even very briefly made KTVU news last night. I have no idea how it started or even whether anyone was hurt; the news report said nothing about that. (Photo taken June 1, 2013)
