            <title>Burned Out</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<a href="/photoblog/2013/05/post-5.html"><img alt="0553.jpg" src="http://www.aroundjingletown.com/photoblog/images/0553.jpg" width="800" height="600" class="mt-image-center" border="0" /></a><br clear="all" /><p class="content">The homeless camp I walked past every day that was on the little path next to the freeway and under the 23rd Avenue overcrossing burned down yesterday afternoon. I was working in my studio and heard the sirens and the fire engines, but then they're normal for 'round here, and I didn't bother looking outside when they went past. It even very briefly made KTVU news last night. I have no idea how it started or even whether anyone was hurt; the news report said nothing about that.
